Gumboot Day

On Gumboot Friday which was the 5 of April 2019 everyone was wearing gumboots. If you don’t know what Gumboot Day is all about it is all about mantel health and mike king was the person how wanted  gumboot Friday Exist for the people that are having trouble finding help and that they think that they are useless and they think that they can’t do anything so he chose gumboots because it is mud and it is heavy but we still have to go all the way thero the mud to Finish the task . So on Friday we went on our chromebooks and I was looking for some positive quotes that could help them feel better and forget about everything and my  quote was ‘everyone wants happiness no one what’s pain you can’t have a rainbow without a little rain’ that was my quote, and this idea also came from healthy Puketapapa student Questionnaire. If you have good mental health then you have good well - being but if you don’t have good mental health then you kinda don’t have good well - being. I think that gumboot Friday is a great idea for the community and I think that this is a great idea and that is really great for our community and another reason is that a day after that someone's mother had

FOOTBALL ZONES!!!!

                                                                Hi everyone!

On the 4 of April 2019 it was the first football zones in 3 years! We had to be at school at 8:00 am  so we could get all of our gear on. e.g. long socks, knee pads and zones uniform. Then we traveled to Eden park for our games. When we got there we had to wait for them to set the place up and then we could go and put our stuff away. The more exciting thing is that the worlds best  woman football player was there and we got to see her and got to give her a hi 5. And then our games started at 9:00 am. We played Three Kings and we won 2 nil and then we had another game and we won that too. We won all but one of our games which we tied with Mt Roskill. The Fifa world cup was there and no one is allowed to touch it. 

I think we had great sport men and the we just had fun that is all bye bye!

on the 15.3.19 there was a terrible attack in Christchurch on the Al-nor mosque. sins that day we have been doing 2 minute silent, on the hole school came to geter  to here the prayer at 1:45 PM,        

My digital dig

Hi there

Today I am going to be talking to you about my digital dig. So on the mat Miss McGrath ( Our teacher) So she asked us if we had finished our ... Getting to know you forms, pepeha, poem and our timeline and many more things that we had worked on. If we had finished all of that she asked us if we had finished our digital dig and I said no! Even my friend Aahana said she had not finished the Slideshow, so we went off to finish it off. And then I came back to ask Ms McGrath if I could listen to music. "Only if you are finished the getting to know you and the other things that I said in the start"  she said. I had so we listened to music while we were doing our digital dig. I had nearly finished the digital dig slideshow. So me and Aahana were up to making our own chromebooks out of polyline and that was the exciting part. I will put a screenshot of my Chromebook and add It to the bottom, it is nearly finished. It still looks awesome!

My Getting To Know Me Form

Hi there my name is Maryam and welcome to my first blog post in 2019! Below is a Getting To Know Me form. I decided to do this so that you guys and everybody around the world would know about me and my family better. We started this in week two and three and now I'm finally finished. Australia is a great place to go and if you don't now what it looks like or you have never been the then that's great you are just like me i will maybe go to Australia to live (Melbourne) but what I now that my family does not what to go and if you are wondering how much people live in Australia there are 24.2 million people live in Australia that's insane right? This is how Australia looks like: 

Sydney

The national sports there are Australian rules football, cricket, netball, rugby union and rugby league. The national icons there are 1. The colours - green and gold, 2. The kangaroo, 3. The opal (gem), 4. The Golden Wattle flower, 5. The emu.
